Designed for a couple ready to enjoy retirement and spend more time at home, this full main-level renovation created a brighter, more functional connection between the interiors and the surrounding landscape. The original home felt dark and limited the clients’ views of their nearly three-acre property and pond. Additional windows brought in more natural light while opening the main living spaces to the scenery outside.

The fireplace was relocated to improve the layout and create a stronger relationship between the living, dining, and kitchen areas. The kitchen was extended to provide substantially more storage, and a new walk-in pantry added another layer of everyday function.
